Events range from large scale expo style events through to promotional road shows, experiential events, conferences, launch events, exhibitions and everything in-between.
THE ROLE
Due to continued growth there is now an opportunity for an Operations Manager to come on board and take the lead and manage various agency and account operations initiatives. A broad role split between business and client operations responsibilities will include:
• Acting as the interface with internal clients/teams and stakeholders across the agency
• Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of agency and account operations standards, policies and procedures
• Reporting against client SLA metrics
• Managing all systems and tools within the agency and running reports
• Maintaining and evolving training documentation relating to process and / or systems
• Working closely with the Head of Operations on implementing and improving systems and processes
• Partnering with the operations team to support across client accounts
• Supporting with documentation relating to budgets and reconciliation
• Checking and approving supplier purchase orders and invoices
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must come from a corporate or agency setting and have a proven background of managing internal operations. Strong organisational and time management skills are key as is the ability to understand and work with various systems and tools. Candidates must be process oriented and have the ability to train others in this area. An understanding for the importance of working within client timelines and supporting key business reporting deadlines is essential. Line management would be and added benefit but is not essential for the role. Strong project management skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across internal departments is a must!
