JOB SUMMARY
The core role of the Events and Youth Programs Manager - EMEA is to plan, execute and manage all in person and virtual
events as part of the team’s mission to enable Marriott International and its brands to attract, engage, educate and retain
world class talent. This role will also actively contribute to the development of new Talent Programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an up-to date pricing and services of Recruitment Events for Managed and Franchise hotels
- Establish relationships with ADHRs and Hotel HR leaders at a country level to understand their recruitment needs and
- Take ownership of organizing localized Recruitment Events (both virtual and in-person) to supply our Managed and
with candidates interested in pursuing their career with Marriott International.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and youth virtual/in person events including identifying the best fit offering based
marketing the event, promoting within local tertiary education institutions, event execution, billing where applicable
- Researching, establishing relationships and contributing to growing our network of key tertiary education institutions
recruitment events particularly in markets with the demand
- Design and develop a calendar of attractive Marriott Managed youth events in collaboration with the University
- Partnering with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure all assets at events are aligned with the brand strategy
- Dedicated expert for the virtual recruitment platform
- Tracking key event metrics and reporting to data analytics team
- Contributing to the development of new Talent Programs as assigned eg. Refugee Hiring, Marriott Internship Program
- This role includes 25% travel time.
Job Specification
Education & Experience
3-5 years event planning and management experience.- Project management experience.
- Experience and/or strong interest in the field of talent acquisition in Europe, Middle East and/or Africa an advantage.
- Experience managing medium to large size projects and/or leading process improvement efforts.
- Recruitment experience would be an advantage.
- Experience working with youth would be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in events management, human resources, or related field.
- Project Management Certification would be an advantage.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong planning, organizing and event management skills.- Ability to present to, to network/manage relationships, and to influence a broad group of stakeholders.
- Strong associate relation skills with passionate energy and Marriott culture ability.
- Ability to research current industry related trends and competitor analysis.
- Ability to use standard software applications and hotel/office systems particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Effective decision-making skills: can choose a course of action amongst options where there is uncertainty, ambiguity or risk.

- Proven ability to use metrics and data analysis effectively.
