Would you like a pivotal role in a national charity focusing on making a real difference for people needing care and support? We need an excellent organiser to co-ordinate the multiple activities of a highly performing team to deliver on our priorities, projects and business objectives. It is an excellent opportunity to apply your existing skills and develop your career.
About us
ADASS is the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services in England. We are a membership charity aiming to further the interests of people in need of care and support by promoting high standards of social care services and influencing the development of social care legislation and policy. The membership is drawn from serving directors of adult social care employed by local authorities, their direct reports, past officers (associates) and principal social workers.
The staff team works largely remotely but has an office based in Westminster, which is available as required and for occasional in-person meetings.
We offer flexible working within the requirements of the organisation. There is a need to commit to being present at key national events (travel within England required) and to work to key deadlines some of which might not be within standard working hours.
