I am looking for a trustworthy, dynamic and experienced Executive Assistant to support the MD of a very progressive, modern accountancy firm in Glasgow.
Please note that this role can be part-time to suit school hours.
The idea candidate will come from a similar background and have the ability to undertake any general accounting / payroll duties as and when required.
Duties will include:
- Read and action all emails where appropriate.
- Efficiently manage and prioritise the executive's calendar, ensuring optimal use of time.
- Schedule and co-ordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Draft and proofread emails, memos, reports, and other documents.
- Coordinate tasks and projects on behalf of the executive team.
- Follow up on action items and ensure deadlines are met.
- Organise and maintain confidential information and documents.
- Make travel arrangements, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and itineraries.
- Prepare agendas and necessary materials for meetings.
- Track and reconcile expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Proactively identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role.
- Ideally some accounting / accounts assistant experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- A trustworthy person with full discretion.
