Contract Scotland has a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our client, a pioneering business who are leading the way in their field. This is a full time, permanent role, based in Glasgow City Centre and offers you the chance to join this business at an exciting time.
You will be office based and will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Hybrid working may be considered over time. The office itself is a 5 minute walk from the train station.
Working as part of a growing team, you will be required to provide confidential, comprehensive, and professional support to the CEO. This is a newly created role which you will be able to develop an shape. Duties will include:
- Maintaining the CEO s calendar and scheduling all appointments
- Carrying out research to assist the CEO with their own duties in preparation for meetings and presentations
- Attending to personal tasks like responding to calls and emails
- Taking responsibility and ownership of office organisation, deadline compliance, and important documents and files
- Arranging travel for leadership team
- Organising and coordinating internal and external meetings
- Arranging video and teleconference calls, events
- Accurately tracking and processing expenses for leadership team
- Ensuring the flow of correspondence and communication to the CEO
- Pro-actively managing a busy inbox
- Performing additional duties as assigned e.g. supporting the management of team costs
Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential, however all industry sectors will be considered. You will be a natural organiser, with excellent communication skills and you will understand the importance of delivering an excellent administrative support to senior management figures.
