Executive Chef – French Cuisine

Salary: $115,000 - $120,000

Location: New York, NY

I am working with a distinguished culinary establishment nestled in the heart of New York City.
This company embodies a commitment to excellence in every dish, showcasing a fusion of global flavors and culinary expertise.
Currently, they are on the lookout for a visionary Executive Chef to lead their kitchen, bringing creativity and passion to their esteemed dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain their reputation for culinary excellence
• Hire, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary skill and teamwork
• Oversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislation
• Manage cost controls, forecasting and inventory management
• Review financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded

Executive Chef Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a comparable role, preferably within a high volume establishment
• Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment
• French cuisine experience is preferred
• A well-rounded and motivated culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
• Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
• Degree in Culinary Arts is an asset
