This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager with strong communications skills to join a highly valued and respected estates team in a role that will blend your knowledge of facilities management with best practice and to a high standard that meets legislative requirements.
This role will be critical in supporting the Director of Estates & Facilities to deliver smooth processes within the hard and soft services as well as managing compliance with building management systems, health and safety, maintenance and capital works. You will be responsible for overseeing the site maintenance contracts to ensure compliance and PPM is arranged and that any reactive maintenance is dealt with in a timely manner.
You will work closely with the Commercial and Lettings Manager to ensure the smooth running of maintenance, security, cleaning as well as leading a team of staff, including a Hard Services Supervisor, Soft Services Supervisor, Maintenance Technicians, Soft Services Assistants and day-to-day contactors. You will also provide them with the necessary training to enable them to carry out their duties effectively and in line with school policies.
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstratable experience of managing facilities and staff. You will have strong knowledge of statutory duties and excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. The actual salary will be up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
