Red Recruitment is recruiting a Finance Administrator to join an interesting and exciting Barristers' Chambers in Bristol City Centre. This role sits within the finance team and exists to ensure the smooth running of Chambers internal finances, in order for Chambers to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities of a Finance Administrator:
- Processing daily the fees account to ensure prompt payment of Barrister's fees
- Ensuring prompt and accurate payment of staff salaries each month and timely reporting to HMRC and uploading of the pension scheme information
- Ensure prompt payment of creditors
- Overseeing all insurance-related administration in conjunction with the Chambers Manager
- Ensuring month-end statements for Barristers are prepared and sent out accurately as well as organising the collection of payments on a monthly direct debit run
- Providing necessary financial information when requested
- Being the main point of contact for the bankers and being alert to potential online fraud/scams
Key Skills and Experience of a Finance Administrator:
- SAGE 50 accountancy software knowledge is desirable
- You must be able to enter data accurately with attention to detail
- Basic Accountancy qualifications are desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of the Meridian Law Connected system and the functioning of a Barristers' Chambers is desirable
- Role requires a high level of confidentiality
