We are looking for a diligent Finance Assistant with a proven track record in financial administration. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Sage 50 accounts and Sage 50 payroll, possessing a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to handling financial tasks. Key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:
- Posting of purchase ledger invoices and credits to Sage accurately.
- Deal with purchase ledger queries and reconcile supplier statements.
- Posting of purchase ledger journals.
- Process and prepare supplier payments, staff expenses, and track all payments.
- Reconcile and process company credit cards and petty cash transactions.
- Weekly payroll, submissions, auto-enrolment administration, posting journals, maintaining staff attendance/holiday entitlement.
- Support the Finance Team with requests and audits.
To be considered for the position of Finance Assistant, you will require the following attributes:
- Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 accounts and Sage 50 payroll is essential.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good problem-solving skills.
