Finance Assistantsought on maternity cover by a global polymer manufacturer with over 20,000 employees across 170 locations worldwide to join their team based in Ross-on-Wye.
This is a Part Time Maternity cover role for 12 months, 14 hours per week. Flexibility is available on days and times worked.
The Role:- Banking correspondences with HSBC
- Banking correspondences with Group Treasury
- Financial accounts reconciliations and accounting
- Financial accounting general enquiries
- Audit assistance - year-end and interim audit, statutory audits, HMRC audits
- Year-end reporting
- Project work
- Assisting the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, managing donation/sponsorship requests, liaising with internal and external parties
The successful Finance Assistant will demonstrate:- Previous accounting experience
- Comfortable working in a small team
- An organised and analytical approach
- Able to deliver results and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Computer literate in all MS Office applications
- Previous working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- AAT Part qualified (desired)
