Finance Assistant

Finance assistant required for a company on the Birmingham Business Park. This role would be ideal for an AAT studier or finance graduate who is looking to kick start their accounts career.
Job duties will be:
- Support with the end-to-end management of a vehicle lease including, in-life management and concluding the end-of-life transactions.
o Recording, monitoring and reconciling vehicle rental charges from external funding providers
o Processing end of life transactions to include residual value payments, early terminations and administering lease extensions including negotiations with funders and liaising with internal stakeholders.
o Monitoring, recording and publishing sales details of leased vehicles.
- Support the Funding Partner Lead
- Ensuring the customer billing correctly reflects the charges received from the funder and all items passed through promptly.
- Support the balance sheet reconciliation process for the funding elements.
- Respond to funder queries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Keeping process and procedural notes up to date with any material changes.
Experience required:
- Worked in a finance environment for a major organisation and small subsidiary set-ups.
- Worked in a small finance team.
- Experience of Finance software systems
- Adept on Excel (vlooks ups and pivot tables)and Word.
- Working in a high pressure environment.
- Experience of meeting tight deadlines.
