Position Summary:
This role will require you to manage a team of up to 10 Transactional Accountants as we are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Managerto lead our U.K and Ireland Real Estate services within Finance Operations. As a part of the team you will be overseeing payments for both owned and leased real estate, and collaborating with franchisees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate financial reporting related to real estate accounting
- Managing and developing a team on 10 transactional accountants
- Handle lease payments and financial transactions
- Collaborate with the market on strategic initiatives
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and company policies
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Participate in or lead projects across departments
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and develop others and manage a large team
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- Minimum of 7 years in qualifying accounting work.
Ideally you will have strong leadership abilities as well as managing the relationship with internal and external key customers.
