Record to Report Manager - Finance Project Lead
Salary: £75,000 - £90,000
Location: Manchester (hybrid working)
Duration: 12 months fixed term contract
Sellick Partnership has been assigned to recruit a R2R Manager Finance Project Lead for a very successful and instantly recognisable retail business based in Manchester. The business has outperformed their competitors over the past few years and will continue to do so by driving their strategic plan, delivering further improvements and changes that will make a real impact on the whole business.
You will be responsible for successfully delivering the finance transformation project (FTP) for the R2R. As an SAP Finance Project Lead, we will look to you to challenge and influence the way the business design and utilise SAP, making sure it is fit for purpose. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with the R2R leadership team, communicating design updates and reporting any new or potential issues.
General duties:
- Challenge and influence the design of their SAP configuration and processes to ensure a highly controlled and efficient way of thinking
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the R2R leadership team and FTP colleagues, support UAT test script and perform testing, reporting all issues through to resolution
- Collaborate with key internal and external partners to make sure any required process changes are successfully adopted
- Make sure processes and controls are documented to guarantee a successful BEIS (UK Sox) audit
The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA) who has experience in a similar R2R role and has experience of working with SAP. R2R management experience and actual experience of R2R processes but that also had SAP experience and some project implementation experience – you don’t need to have implemented SAP itself.
The role requires an ambitious and proactive individual who enjoys applying a strong process and control focus, with the ability to build robust and productive relationships, providing support and challenge across all functions and liaising with senior management.
