Financial Accountant

Jackson Hogg Limited are delighted to be partnering with a Cramlington based Manufacturer, looking to recruit a newly created Group Financial Accountant.

You will support the UK Financial Controller to ensure compliance with accounting standards and help drive financial reporting and control across multiple UK legal entities.

This role offers a huge development opportunity for a Technical Accountant looking to growing into a larger role.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provides technical accounting expertise to UK Finance team members as required and directs the preparation and formal review of local financial reports and statements.
• Support statutory accounts preparation in accordance with accounting standards
• Key point of contact for annual statutory and control audits for all UK entities
• Support month end closing of ledgers of entities not supported by EMEA Shared Service Centre

Skills/Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA fully qualified
• Technically strong - IFRS or US-GAAP
• Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
