Financial Analyst

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for processing all financial activities in relation to provisioning for key maintenance events and take financial lead for the forecast, balance sheet and actual performance.
• Review key sales drivers and highlight changes in the business and the external environment which can expose either opportunities or risks.
• Participate with other commercial finance colleagues in evaluation of activities including impact on sales, product and profitability as well as incorporating cross functional insight to guide strategic direction and assist in future planning for all sales.
• Assist in the forecast for sales by channel in both the long and short term through constant review of key sales drivers and highlighting changes in the business and the external environment which can expose either opportunities or risks.
• Working in partnership with the additional teams to support in-house optimisation.
• Evaluate revisions and ensure any changes are reflected in cash flow forecasts, identifying and communicating any potential risk and opportunities to the forecast as a result of movements in the plan

Key Skills and experience:

• Part Qualified or Finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Ideally previous experience in a comparable role
• Drive and determination to take the initiative and deliver on whatever comes your way
• Experience of working in a fast paced and high growth environment
• Experience of SAP(Desirable)
• Methodical, accurate and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills
