An opportunity to be a Financial Controller for an excellent logistics company in Tamworth. The role is completely office-based, five days a week, under a fantastic Head of Finance.
Main Duties:
As a Financial Controller, your main duties include:
- Supporting the Head of Finance with:
- Production of management accounts, budgets, and sales reports
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Monitoring debtors with credit control
- Supporting the Financial Reporting Manager with:
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing and completing annual statutory reporting and audit information
- Preparing weekly and monthly KPIs
- Managing the finance function and team, including appraisals and training
- Developing financial systems and models
- Preparing group finances
- Ad hoc financial analysis

The role is based in Tamworth and surrounded by an enthusiastic team with great management.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified, with extensive post-qualification experience
- Experienced in managing budgets and financial controls
- Good at managing a team
- Strategic and professionally minded
