You will be a self starter, driven and ambitious on the upward trajectory in your career. If you are a "steady Eddy" looking for a role where you have set hours and expect to walk out of the door everyday at 5pm, then this role is not for you! Although the challenge is tough the reward will be greater!
You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the detail. One day you cold be managing the day-to-day finance operations and helping to make strategic decisions, the next producing quarterly tax returns and management accounts.
You will be happy interacting with a variety of colleagues working in their open plan office, relaying financial information to non-finance people.
You'll be experienced in managing, supporting and developing a team with a can-do approach. You'll be responsible for an immediate finance team of 4.
You'll be qualified or working towards the end of completing your ACA or ACCA. Ideally, you'll have an understanding of HMRC mechanics and how to run a VAT return.
There are systems and processes currently in place, but if you feel that with your knowledge and prior experience you can make improvements you have absolute autonomy to do so as you will make this role your own.
