Responsibilities- Record Fixed Asset acquisitions and disposals assets in the Fixed Asset module in SAP, for both US GAAP and Greek Accounting Standards registry.
- Run the monthly depreciation and ensure that depreciation accounting is completed in a timely manner.
- Assign tag numbers to Fixed Assets.
- Perform the reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register via General Ledger.
- Act as the point of contact and participate in audits, by providing all necessary data to the Auditors of the Company.
- Perform physical counts of Fixed Assets and record the results to the FA registry.
- Be responsible for various accounting activities such as month end, reporting, manual journal entries, and reconciliations.
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting.
- At least 3 years of working experience in similar position (Fixed Assets accounting).
- Strong knowledge and experience of Fixed Assets and General Ledger.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Very good knowledge of SAP.
- Excellent use of the Greek and English language.
