Form of workOne of our major retail and distribution clients based in the centre of Peterborough are looking for a solid administrator to join the operations team with resolving operational issues that may occur.
The role requires good communication and problem-solving skills, liaising between suppliers, distributors and various in-house departments and key contacts.
Some of the other skills required to do this job include;
- Multi-tasking.
- Problem solving.
- Prioritising tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Confidence in communicating by telephone as well as email.
- Proficiency in Excel.
Other job duties will include supporting the Operations Manager with;
- Identifying and introducing process improvements.
- Reporting and resolving stock shortages, damages etc.
- Investigating and resolving incorrect orders or product information.
- Supporting with audits and compliance.
- Supporting with any invoicing queries.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Ops Manager, Supply Chain team and any other department heads within the operational distribution and retail process.
Although this role is deemed as a back-office role, to succeed in this post, you must have the confidence and ability to communicate with various key contacts and look to resolve any issues.
