Job description

We're seeking an extraordinary individual to fill a very exciting and rewarding role in our team. The current vacancy is for a high calibre full-time Head of Client Services to join Bakehouse Factory for our next exciting chapter.

The Role

Head of Client Services
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Core hours 9.30am – 5.30pm
Starting salary: £43-45k per annum Location: Bristol BS4

We are a highly respected event company specialising in quality, interactive activations and placemaking projects. We work throughout the UK and, unlike many event companies, Bakehouse Factory does it all under one roof! No two days are the same: arriving at work on any given day, you will will be met with brilliant makers creating costumes, writing scripts, designing choreography, and turning creative designs into reality in a workshop full of skilled carpenters, welders, painters and scenic artists. The Bakehouse Factory family comprises a large but close-knit team of highly skilled creatives, and a national team of talented performers and event specialists who collectively bring our events to life.

Top Duties and Qualifications

Head of Client Services is a pivotal member of the senior management team. We are looking for someone who will ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of service possible from Bakehouse. Your duties will include leading the Client Services team, communicating with clients regularly, gathering client feedback and driving further sales.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for client satisfaction, increasing sales and working closely with the other Heads of Department to ensure top quality seamless project delivery. You will lead the Client Services team in assisting clients, resolving issues and implementing changes that can strengthen Bakehouse’s relationships with our clients.

Other duties and responsibilities of Head of Client Services include:

  • Exploring novel sectors for Bakehouse services, identifying new opportunities and attracting new clients

  • Onboarding new clients and developing fruitful working relationships

  • Leading and developing the Client Services team, ensuring great customer care is at the heart of everything

  • Line Management of Client Services team (currently two people) driving a positive culture of success, respect and mutual support

  • Coaching and supporting team members to be their best selves and helping them meet company goals

  • Leveraging the capabilities of our amazing in-house creative team to meet clients’ needs and challenges, ensuring a seamless customer experience and repeat custom

  • Generating sales or service reports, primarily using SalesForce, for clients and senior management

  • Keeping documentation and records of Client interactions for training purposes

  • Producing high quality sales materials and responding with kick-ass presentations to meet

    client briefs

  • Attending pitch meetings and other networking events as appropriate

  • Setting your sights on team targets and KPIs, owning your pipelines like a pro

  • Diving into research, understanding the sector and pinpointing its decision-makers

  • Expect occasional out of hours or weekend working

    Who will you report to?

    As Head of Department, you will collaborate and meet regularly with other Departmental Heads across the business and will report directly to our Company Directors. You will be expected to provide frequent updates on both sales and customer satisfaction.

  • Time Management: Juggling tasks is your forte, you’re a finisher and you dot your i's and cross your t's without breaking a sweat.
