Our client is looking for a Head of Finance to join their team to manage, develop and maintain our financial processes, procedures, systems and controls.
Our client is going through a very exciting period of change and expansion. To be to be successful for this role you will need to be a qualified Accountant (or be qualified by experience) with extensive knowledge and experience of both financial and management accounting, and good technical knowledge of financial systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial processes, procedures, systems and controls sufficient to safeguard the assets of the organisation
- Work with the Hierachy and Trustees on ensuring the financial stability of the charity.
- Lead on the catching up with finance processing in the short term.
- Oversee preparation of the Draft Accounts and deliverables for the external Audit.
- Provide accurate, timely and meaningful financial and management reporting and analysis to the Board of Trustees and other internal stakeholders to support decisions on the strategic direction and operational needs of the organisation.
About you
- Finance qualification(s).
- Knowledge of both financial and management accounting, and good technical knowledge of financial process management.
- Proven experience of providing accounting services in an accounting department.
- Excellent management skills with demonstrable track record in problem solving, delivering efficient solutions/outcomes and decision making.
- You will be committed to the organisations values and be customer focused.
