Talentedge are working with an Early stage VC backed start-up who are looking to hire an established Head of Finance to join their growing business!! This role reports directly into a very impressive CFO who will expose you all round business operations and give you insight into how a start-up ticks
This role will be an all encompassing finance role. You will be managing a small team beneath getting your hands dirty when needs be but also be a commercially focused individual looking at strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
- Approve or reject budgets
- Oversight of core finance
- Creation of financial models
- Supervise outsourced accountants
- Allocate resources and manage cash flows
- Conduct profit and cost analyses
- Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
- Commercial finance and FP&A
- Consult board members about funding options
- Recommend cost-reducing solutions
Requirements
- Fully Qualified
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Leadership abilities
