Head of Finance reporting to the Group CFO, responsible for leading the UK Finance function of a global regulated commercial financial brokerage business.

Our services include wholesale brokerage and execution of cash and derivative products across a range of asset classes including equities, debt, listed derivatives and OTC products.

Hybrid working supported subject to minimum 3 days per week in Central London office.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Oversight of all day to day finance routines and commitment to continued development of processes and control frameworks

· Act as key stakeholder to the business, working collaboratively with the Group CFO, SMT and cross functional peers

· Report to the Group CFO and UK SMT with timely and accurate financial information including oversight of monthly management reporting routines in line with group reporting requirements

· Member of UK Management and Risk Committees – working in collaboration with key stakeholders across the business in the continual design and development of process and control procedures

· Management of UK finance team

· Regulatory: production of quarterly regulatory returns, FCA financial surveys and supporting the ICARA process

· Treasury: management of regular cashflow reporting routines and FX management in line with group treasury requirements and overseeing regulatory capital and liquidity monitoring

· Production of annual budget and input to Group annual planning process

· Taxation: management of VAT returns, Partnership Tax Return and supporting partners tax statements

· Management of the external audit process including preparation of financial statements

· Liaison and co-ordination with HR to support monthly payroll process for employees and partners

· Supporting management of external stakeholder relationships including commercial bankers, payroll providers and auditors

· Support in Group finance wide strategic initiatives

Qualification and Skills

· Qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE

· Previous Head of Finance (or similar) experience required within regulated financial services

· Deep understanding of LLP accounting preferred

· Experience of leading and managing a finance team

· Knowledge of Sun accounting system highly desirable
