What you'll do
As the Head of Finance Data & Reporting within Finance Delivery, you'll be accountable for setting the strategic vision and the execution of the Finance data strategy, ensuring robust data governance, and driving analytics capabilities to support key business decisions. Data Strategy, Governance and Reporting Capabilities:
Own the creation, development and implementation of a comprehensive Finance data strategy.
Establish and maintain robust data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with legal and company standards.
Define the analytics capabilities required across the organization, delivering reporting standards and an increase in self-service capabilities.
Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to enhance financial analysis.
Engage with finance leaders, executives, and key stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements.
Provide an expertise for data, aligning with Sky Data and Comcast corporate teams to ensure a consistent approach to the governance of data.
Collaborate with Group Technology on the implementation and integration of data-related technologies and tools.
Build and lead a high-performing team of Data and Reporting Specialists.
What you'll bring
Proven experience in a senior finance role with a focus on data and reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation, with the ability to inspire a team, peers and senior stakeholders about the importance of data.
Experience of implementing strong governance models which allow the business to function effectively whilst managing data accuracy.
Curious, data driven and desire to consistently improve (and the ability to balance this with the pressure of BAU for the organisation).

Finance Delivery
Finance Delivery is providing the back office Financial services to the organisation, with the delivery through Global Finance Operations. The Global Process Ownership function is accountable for the transformation of end-to-end services in Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to cash (O2C) and Account to Report (A2R), policy ownership for key policies, and for the strategy and governance of Finance Data and reporting.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
