SalaryA well established asset manager based in central London is seeking a highly experienced finance professional to take ownership of all areas of financial reporting for the Group. The role will be very varied and will include managing a small team, oversight of all external reporting (including regulatory reporting) and board level presentation. You will have held a very similar role from the financial services sector, ideally from within Investment Management.
The Role:
- Manage and support a small team of accountants
- Oversight of all financial operations (includes AP and AR)
- Oversee the production of all financial and management accounts for the Group
- Attend Board meetings and act as Finance lead for presentation purposes
- Oversee statutory reporting and act as key liaison with the auditors
- Oversee corporate treasury management
- Oversight of financial regulatory reporting
- Ensure the group is compliant with all corporate tax requirements
- Constant review of accounting policies, processes and systems
Requirements:
- You will be an experienced, qualified accountant
- Experience gained from the financial services sector with a natural preference for someone who has worked within asset management
- Demonstrable team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Very sound technical accounting knowledge, especially around IFRS
- Demonstrable experience presenting at Board level
