Description
- Overseeing all financial operations within the museum
- Managing budget planning and implementation
- Creating and presenting financial reports to stakeholders
- Ensuring financial compliance and risk management
- Leading and developing the finance team
- Collaborating with other department heads to align financial and organisational goals
- Advising on strategic financial planning
- Representing the museum in financial negotiations and discussions
Profile
A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Extensive experience in financial management, particularly within a museum or similar institution
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team
- Excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills
- Experience in strategic planning and financial forecasting
- Strong negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach to financial discussions
Job Offer
- Competitive daily rate of £540 to £660
