Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
As the Head of Finance your responsibilities would be to:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organisational goals
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual statements
- Monitor bank accounts and maintain direct debit and standing order information
- Maintain cashflow forecast
- Analyse financial data to identify trends
- Ensure the smooth running of weekly subcontractor payroll
- Process monthly payroll
- Process and submit quarterly VAT Return
- Oversee the calculation and submission of monthly returns
- Lead and mentor a team of 6
- Collaborate with other departments to support decision making and drive operational efficiency
You'll be the perfect match for this position if you have:
- A Finance qualification
- Proven Financial Management experience
- Strong understanding of financial principals, regulations and best practice
