Location: Hybrid working part London Office (Islington, London) part home work. The post holder will work a minimum of 1 day per week in the office.
Salary: £55,200

Who we are looking for
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Finance to provide effective and collaborative financial support and leadership for JDRF in adapting to these new priorities and programmes. You will lead a small finance team (2.2 FTEs), coordinate the annual budget setting process, ensure statutory compliance OF FINANCE activities, and lead on the annual accounts and audit process. In addition to these routine technical responsibilities you will add significant value to JDRF by bringing your expertise, communication and problem solving skills to a range of projects and issues.
Experience required
You will be a CCAB qualified financial professional or working towards the qualification or a willingness to study towards it, be familiar with the charity SORP, and have worked for a charity with fundraised income of £1m or more. You will have excellent accounting, analytical, and communication skills, allied with a pragmatic and solution focused approach.
