The opportunity Join UAL Online, our exciting new division that brings the University’s world leading creative arts education to a global audience. As we launch a suite of new courses in the 2024/25 academic year, we're seeking a Head of Market Insight, Data, and Analytics to drive evidence-based decision-making and shape the future of online education. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across UAL, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accessible Data and analyses, overseeing three crucial areas within this emerging unit: Leading the underpinning research essential for identifying and curating a commercially viable portfolio of courses tailored for a global audience. Developing datasets, definitions, and frameworks to effectively track success and insights. In partnership with the Commercial Director, you will develop enhanced metrics and KPIs, ensuring evaluation of all commercial activities and proactive identification of new opportunities. Offering critical insights that contribute to the development of strategy, providing research that identifies areas of prospective growth and development across the broader online learning landscape and our evolving portfolio of qualifications. About you Your track record should include demonstrable experience in a market research or systems data leadership role within an organisation of comparable complexity. Experience in higher education, particularly in online higher education, will be highly advantageous. At this early stage of the unit’s development, we seek an individual passionate about fostering a positive team culture and establishing strong relationships with stakeholders. You should be able to demonstrate a robust track record in utilising both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, alongside a keen ability to design and execute impactful market research and insight projects. Your exceptional proficiency in numeracy and analytical skills, coupled with a proven capability to interrogate and analyse extensive datasets, will be instrumental. Additionally, understanding and application of GDPR requirements in data collection, analysis, and dissemination will be essential.
