Head Of Marketing

Blair West are supporting an invested Cyber Security Business, to find a Head of Marketing. The platform automates the process of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, in which cyber experts simulate attacks on computer systems.

The platform has been developed specifically for SMEs and aligns with the government’s ‘Cyber Essentials’ scheme to help companies secure accreditation by showing they have monitoring in place.

The opportunity:

• Define and execute a marketing strategy.
• You will be responsible for designing and executing all campaigns and activities that will generate the leads necessary to achieve short and longer-term sales targets.
• You will work closely with the sales function, providing sales enablement material and demand generation campaigns, including industry-relevant events and expos.
• A full audit of current marketing activities will be needed as, to date, the business has attempted many different things with varying degrees of success.
• Build your own team over time.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you're:

• Comfortable taking full ownership of all marketing activities across the business and being accountable to the SLT.
• B2B lead generation focused, motivated by both strategy design and tactical execution.
• Experienced working in a B2B recurring revenue business.
• Comfortable managing external agency relationships, and comfortable with challenging their outputs for the benefit of the business.
• Experienced in PPC, SEO and other digital channels.
• Comfortable managing budgets of £300k+ in a recurring revenue business.
