Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships

We are delighted to work with Butterfly Conservation to find a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to lead their corporate, major gifts and legacy fundraising strategies. This is a new role for the charity as part of their investment in high-value relationship fundraising to achieve the significant income growth they know is possible.  Butterfly Conservation is a charity dedicated to saving butterflies, moths, and our natural environment. They are a leading authority on the conservation of these beautiful creatures – key indicators of a healthy ecosystem – and they have achieved numerous successes for them locally and nationally.
With line management of a team of three, a salary of £36,862-£42,719 and the opportunity to be fully home-based, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced relationship fundraiser to play a vital strategic role in developing and expanding corporate and high-value supporters for a leading conservation charity.
To be a successful Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will need:

• Proven track record of raising significant income from either corporate partnerships or major donors
• Ability to develop and deliver fundraising plans and strategies to meet income targets and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – presenting complex information clearly, concisely and persuasively
• Demonstrable experience in relationship development, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels to negotiate, manage and inspire others to support financially

Salary £36,862 - £42,719
