We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The primary responsibilities include covering teachers' PPA/management time and providing planned or emergency cover. The HLTA role complements the professional work of teachers by overseeing agreed learning activities under supervised conditions.
Applicants should demonstrate strong teamwork skills, flexibility, a positive outlook, and high expectations for all children. Experience working in a school environment is essential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with complex learning needs.
- Be capable of working with any age group within the school.
- Possess the ability to improvise and adapt quickly when necessary.
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
The pupils benefit from a diverse curriculum that includes off-site vocational experiences and outdoor adventurous activities. They pride themselves on being a happy and welcoming school.
The successful candidate must be available to start on 19th February, possess a DBS on the update service or be able to process one, and provide 24 months of references.

Salary: £101 - £103 per day
