Hotel Receptionist Night Porter (11Pm - 7:30Am)

Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport NEC, currently seeking an experienced Hotel Night Receptionist/ Porter to join the family.

What will I do?

• Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival- make time to engage with guests & deliver exceptional service
• Strong knowledge about local area/ what's going on - be able to advise/recommend to guests
• Provide a friendly, courteous service
• Respond appropriately to guest issues/problem handling
• Process night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports (Experience of Opera systems is advantageous)
• Provide food & drink service (24hr to all guests in house - limited food menu during these hours)
• Handle cash & credit transactions
• Remain consistent – always striving for excellence.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Previous experience of reservation systems (Opera)
• Be over 18 Years Old (For the purpose of licensing)

This role is a permanent full-time role, working 5 days out of 7 per week.

Shift Pattern : 11pm until 07:30am

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
