This role fits in with a newly formed central Housing Management Team. The successful candidate will have 6-8 direct reports which will be Supported Housing Officers. The role will cover North West, West Midlands, Wales, South West and London
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Housing Services Manager who has Housing Management experience, Line Management and leadership experience.
The successful candidate’s team will be responsible for delivering Housing Management Services income management, tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, anti-social behaviour, housing legal action and supporting good property standards/estate management.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· To be accountable for the performance and service delivery of effective housing management in your geographical area.
· To effectively line manage Supported Housing Officers in line with Nacro’s people policies.
· To report on income collection performance, tenure activity, ASB activity, legal activity in your region
· To work collaboratively with Service Leads and area managers and provide support to ensure front line teams are managing property standards of residential units to a high standard and share any matters of concern with area managers and heads of service.
· Ensure your team are providing support on liaising with property or leasing team where needed on any properties in poor condition or where there are landlord issues.
A full driving license and access to a car for business use is essential for this role.
