HR Advisor
Sunbury on Thames
£35K - £40K per annum
My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in Sunbury on Thames. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for the recruitment management and assisting with a range of employee relations. You will:
- Be responsible for the onboarding process for new employees which includes, reference checks, contracts and induction training
- Work closely with the HR team and assist with any new or ongoing HR projects
- Maintain effective relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders
- Build a strong company culture and healthy work environment
- Update and maintain the HR Platform
- Advise managers on recruitment and selection, preparing job descriptions and adverts, participating in interviews and producing offers of employment
- Build good working relationships with employees and managers by coaching and supporting them in employment matters
- Provide assistance with Employee Relations and Engagement/Wellbeing activities
- Provide generalist HR support, first point of contact for HR queries
- Preparate HR documentation & procedures including administering benefits
- Comfortably manage ever-changing priorities, communicating effectively at all levels
The ideal candidate will:
- Ideally be CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified but not essential
- Have proven experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar role
- Have a strong understanding of UK employment laws and HR best practices, experience supporting a global HR function ideal but not essential
- Have previous experience of recruitment / talent acquisition activities
- Have a high level of competency using HR software and systems
- Be proactive and adaptable
- Be able to work well independently
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Work well within a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge on CRM's and Microsoft office
- Be able to work well with confidential data
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Hybrid working, 1-2 days in the office.
