Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor (Change programme support) to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as VO5, Brylcreem and TIGI based at their prestigious facility in Battersea, London.

This is a full-time temporary role to start ASAP to last until December 2024 working a 37.5-hour week and is paying between 46,500 - £51,150 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Please note: Due to the urgency of the role, we are unable to accept any longer than a 2 week notice period.

Who we are … we are Elida Beauty

Elida Beauty is a very exciting new beauty business within the organisation. We are re-founding iconic brands by remixing them for today's generation, making them even bigger beauty hits than they were the first time around. Our remixes democratize beauty, because we want everyone on the 'beauty dance floor' with top-quality products at great value.

Driven by our colleague's creativity, agility and close connection with consumers, customers and suppliers, we are able to unleash the true potential of our already loved brands with a fresh start. We 'Re-Found' them using a start-up mentality that always 'finds a way'. Our 'no silos', one team approach drives both personal and business growth so that together we deliver outcomes that are music to the ears of consumers, customers, colleagues and the planet alike.

We are looking for an experienced senior HR Advisor to support existing HR colleagues with a large scale consultation exercise regarding the separation of a part of our business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assist with project planning. They will also play a significant operational role in the collective consultation and individual consultation processes.

The candidate will need to have a flexible approach and an ability to adapt to the changing needs of the project, however it is anticipated that responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting business leaders, line managers and employees with employee consultation meetings
  • Planning and scheduling meetings in accordance with agreed timescales, preparing invite letters/emails and calendar invites.
  • Script drafting, where applicable, and assisting with other relevant documentation or letter writing, where required.
  • Briefing/coaching line managers and providing legally sound advice and guidance to employees and line managers, taking ownership of collating questions and obtaining answers.
  • Taking ownership of ad-hoc issues and escalating high risk matters appropriately.
  • Attend and support collective consultation meetings if required, taking notes and collating questions / feedback.
  • Assisting with the production of Q&A documentation or other central comms to employees and/or line managers, where required
  • Act as a first point of contact for affected employees and their line managers, providing continuity of support.
  • Support with data capture to ensure accurate reporting to senior management for monthly change check-in meetings or ad-hoc requests for information.
  • Support any administrative or transactional requirements associated with updating employee records in relation to the change, as required.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • HR background
  • UK Employment Law knowledge
  • Operational change management experience
  • Strong ER casework experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative, take ownership and drive activity at pace.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly professional with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Competent with all Microsoft Office applications
