HR Role - A Great Opportunity

Are you an experienced line manager with a background in retail or hospitality? Have you handled HR tasks as part of your role? If you’re now seeking an HR position in a Head Office HR department, where your career growth is supported, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Role Purpose: As a key member of our HR team, your mission is to provide guidance and advice, ensuring optimal resource utilization and employee performance. Collaborating closely with the HR Manager, you’ll drive the department’s success and contribute to overall business objectives.

Your Responsibilities: Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  1. Enhance Employee Reviews: Analyse and improve our existing employee review process, fostering growth and development.
  2. Talent Acquisition: Evaluate and revise job descriptions to attract top talent. Advise hiring managers on effective candidate evaluation during interviews.
  3. Employee Engagement: Regularly collect staff feedback through surveys, identifying areas for improvement.
  4. HR Metrics: Keep track of essential HR indicators, such as absence rates and performance metrics.
  5. Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on handling employee requests, concerns, and reported issues.
  6. Operational Alignment: Foster open communication between HR and agency teams, ensuring seamless operations.
  7. Onboarding Excellence: Coordinate successful applicant appointments, negotiating terms and conditions.
  8. Training and Workshops: Deliver engaging information briefings on various HR topics.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining HR systems and practices.
  10. Legislation and Learning: Stay updated on relevant HR laws and best practices through seminars and literature.

The ideal candidate will be a confident team leader, who is capable of cascading information and prioritising multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.  This is a hands on role, so excellent face to face communication skills are important.
