Adecco Worcester are currently seeking an experienced HR and H&S Advisor for a part-time position to provide invaluable support in day-to-day HR matters. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering expert advice to both managers and employees on policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases when necessary.
- Provide guidance to managers, fostering the development of people management skills.
- Manage the Sickness and Holiday processes efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and offer expert guidance in HR and H&S matters.
- Oversee Health and Safety protocols, including risk assessments and manual handling.
- Take charge of recruitment management, handling contract amendments and new starter packs.
- Guarantee adherence to safety legislation and advocate best practices throughout the sites.
- Assist in planning, implementing, and reviewing protective measures to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents, and injuries.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any on-site H&S issues, ensuring staff compliance with company procedures.
Candidate Profile:
- Possession of a valid driving license for occasional travel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- CIPD qualification.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to explain information clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Team player with a proactive and organised approach.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
