The One Group are working exclusively with a manufacturing business who are leaders in their market we have been given the opportunity to help with the recruitment for a unique, exciting, and multifaceted HR Assistant role working closely with an experienced HR Manager who is a delight to work with and an excellent support.
This role is varied, and you will have exposure to multiple aspects of HR, from projects to recruitment it is an ideal role for someone who loves working collaboratively but also has the ability to work on their own!
What your day will look like?
- Assisting with absence management, reporting, and updating of systems for the wider business.
- Recruitment will be a consistent portion of this role working closely with managers and the HR manager on job descriptions, interviews, and the all-round recruitment process.
- PA duties where required for the companies Managing Director, this will include but not limited to travel, event bookings and diary management.
- Ensuring confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
- Working closely with the HR manager on new L&D initiatives for the business, identifying and engaging with employees to develop skill sets.
- Fleet administration where required.
- Assisting with exciting HR projects.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintaining the companies Electric Car Scheme and other benefits.
- Day to day support of the employee lifecycle.
- Liaising with payroll with any updated details of holidays, new starters, leavers and any other information required before any payroll cut offs.
- First line support to manager and employees with any HR queries.
- Ensuring accurate information and documents in the HRIS.

The ideal candidate will not need to come from a traditional HR administration role as our client is happy to have someone join that is in a role that has some aspects of HR but is keen to gain more exposure, but they are also happy to have someone that comes from a HR Administration role where you might be wanting more variety. You will be happy to work independently and self-sufficient in organising your workload. High accuracy and attention to detail is key for this role.
Salary and Benefits: £27,000 - £30,0000 dependent on experience, hybrid working of 2 days a week after probation, Life assurance, 25 days holiday + bank holidays this is increased with service, EAP, Perk and savings scheme for various retails stores and free on-site parking!
Hours: 830am - 5pm Monday - Friday
