Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team with various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes within the regulated care sector. We have an external legal team that you will work with and be guided by. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in the field of human resources. You need to be a person pope want to talk too and go too, a friendly approach to staff to ensure we support and maintain a good work force, whilst ensuring all policies are met.
Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews, conduct interviews, follow CQC regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records in Atlas ( training given)
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding processes
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment , DBS checks, eligibility to wort in the UK, update the home office, exit interviews
- Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records
- Assist with payroll processing and data entry
- Support the management team in organising company events and employee engagement initiatives
- Support with social media needs to include posting job openings and company updates
- Provide general administrative support to the management team, including undertaking investigations, minutes at meetings, supporting the quality assurance systems with spot checks on systems and documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not essential
- Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in an administrative role is a must
- Proficient in using computer software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media management platforms is a plus
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
