£25,000 - £28,000 per annum

The role
Our client is looking for a passionate HR Assistant to support their HR department. You will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions to help drive recruitment, employee engagement, staff welfare and the employee lifecycle. Your attention to detail and organisational skills are essential to ensure the smooth running of the department. Task and responsibilities include
First line response for internal queriesDeliver excellent customer service on a range of HR requirements, providing solutions, advice and support across the companySupport the recruitment process by screening candidates, arranging interviews and providing administration supportOnboarding and offboarding for starters and leaversInput and keep digital records up to date on the HR Management systemPrepare reports and management information from HR data (e.g. sickness and holiday)Draft digital HR documentation for staff in relation to contract amendmentsMaintaining and coordinating all aspects of Health and Safety including First Aid and Fire SafetyMinute taking for grievance, disciplinary and other HR related mattersKeep up to date with business changes and HR legislation/legal policy and process changes relevant to the businessConsistently support colleagues and collaborate within the team to achieve business goalsWork with the HR team to maintain and develop the company’s culture and values as the business growsAssist the HR team with group wide staff welfare, including planning company eventsSupport the HR team with any additional administration tasks
Required experience
Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalentMinimum 1 years experience in an HR roleA natural “people person”Excellent organisational, administration and time management skillsFlexible with the ability to multitask and prioritiseSelf motivated and able to work on own initiative and take ownershipExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detailProficient in G Suite or Microsoft packages
