The Role – HR Business Partner

Location:Glasgow (with travel to includem offices as required)

Salary:​​£38,000 p/a

Hours:​​35 hours per week (9am – 5pm; Mon-Fri)

Contract Type:12-month FTC

We are recruiting a dynamic and enthusiastic HR Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract, who will provideinvaluable support to the HR Manager by leading, facilitating, and creating HR processes and systems throughout the complete employee lifecycle. The role will be responsible forbuilding partnerships with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure delivery of the HR strategy. The key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner include, but are not limited to:

• Support the HR Manager in devising, streamlining, and implementing HR systems, policies, and processes to support the full HR lifecycle and ensure they remain competitive, compliant, and accessible to all.

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

• Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with current and proposed employment legislation.

• Support the HR Manager in developing and managing a workforce planning process and reports to support talent management and succession planning across the organisation.

• Lead on building a resourcing strategy which is cost effective and provides resilience.

• Analyse trends and metrics to inform decisions and initiatives regarding employee engagement, wellbeing, and turnover.

About You

With proven experience as a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, you will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources, with demonstrable experience in leading or supporting on the implementation of key HR initiatives. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to challenge and influence a variety of stakeholders across the organisation. In addition, you will possess:

• CIPD membership or equivalent substantial HR experience.

• Experience working in the care or charity sector would be advantageous.

• Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation and regulations.

• Ability to evidence improvements in key people metrics achieved.

• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on continuous improvement and excellent customer service delivery.

• Ability to embrace challenges, take initiative, originate action, and work well with a great deal of autonomy.
