A quick look at the role
The HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering the people strategy across Operations, Head Office and Community Shop to enhance organisational capability and success. You will be responsible for delivering a Business Partner service in performance management, talent management, succession planning, colleague engagement and colleague metrics including absence and attrition.

Your core responsibilities
- Build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders to deliver the people strategy across Operations, Head Office and Community Shop
- Work with key stakeholders to design and deliver the Operations, Head Office and Community Shop People Plan's, covering topics including engagement, talent and succession, wellbeing and development.
- Responsible for managing the HR Administration Team, delivering all SLA's for onboarding and offboarding across the business.
- Provide day-to-day coaching to leaders and managers on a variety of actions including employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organisational design consultation.
- Provide professional and responsive HR advice and support on serious and complex employment matters, e.g. employee performance, conduct, capability, attendance, dismissal, disputes, and redundancy.
- Advise and support leaders and managers in the organisational development and change management, such as mergers, restructures and TUPE activity as and when applicable.
- Embed HR policies and practices.
- Conduct continuous analysis of HR data across key metrics including absence and attrition, working with leaders and managers to reduce rates.
- Support the wider HR team in delivering projects, training and initiatives.
- Promote CSG's equality, diversity, and inclusion agenda.

Our essential requirements
- Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified
- Strong generalist HR experience, including complex case work.
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume environment (ideally within retail or logistics)
- Confident and resilient with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
