Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Day-time hours.
Location: Remote (with over 50% business travel across the North of England)

We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our Home Delivery sector, supporting the Transport and Warehouse operations for Next and Argos Home Delivery!
THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE
- Support the HR Business Partnering requirements across multiple sites within the North of England (Leeds, Sheffield, Carlisle, Dundee, Heywood, Newton Le, Preston, Scunthorpe & Doncaster).
- Support employee satisfaction, performance, retention and effective communication at sites.
- Support the ER agenda and lead / support relationships and key processes with unions at sites.
- Deploy the Business HR Priorities, as directed e.g. labour flexibility, OMS, LPMC, payroll optimisation, T&C's standardisation.
- Provide HR support to start ups and business wins, losses and transfers.
- Ensure employee performance management (sickness, discipline, grievance) is robustly supported.
- Support managers to develop and deliver solutions for workforce planning and management including organization design, forecasting resourcing needs , agency and identifying future talent requirements.
- Act as an advisor to managers to support compliance with HR policies
- Working with Unite Union Representatives across multiple sites.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous HR experience within a Transport and Warehouse operational role.
- Working in a matrix organisation ensuring relevant engagement at all levels
- Stakeholder management skills and able to continue to build on customer relationships.
- Previous business change experience - TUPE, redundancies, restructures, challenges
- Union experience would be beneficial
- A CIPD Qualification or equivalent (desirable)
