This position is a home-based one, and will include travel across Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and very occasionally in Suffolk & North East.
Key Responsibilities of a HR Business Partner:
- To support the Head of People as an integral member of the senior management team, the HR Business Partner is responsible for the provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management.
- The HR Business Partner is responsible for ensuring the contribution of HR expertise to business decisions making and developing people solutions to support service plans and strategy.
- Understand and address the challenges faced by service managers and assist in implementing HR strategy and policies.
- Promote a positive and engaging person centred culture and diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
- Utilise HR analytics to track progress and influence performance.
- Act as a coach, mentor and support for managers whilst dealing with people related issues.
- Effectively and efficiently managing an ER case load, often resolving situations through creative and pragmatic approaches.
- Collaborate on HR projects, including pay strategy, employee benefits and recognition awards, employee engagement surveys, talent reviews, and performance management cycles.
- Relevant HR or business degree level qualification.
- Extensive operational experience gained in a progressive HR function.
- Evidence of leading on complex ER cases.
- Workforce planning expertise.
- Demonstrable CPD.
- HR generalist experience with a strong understanding of HR management.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience with HR systems.
- Working at a senior level in the Social Care or Health sectors.
