We're currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks HR Team. This role will involve driving and delivering the people plan in support of the business strategy and embedding the wider Kier people strategy.
Location: Plymouth (Devonport Dockyard project - on-site)
Contract: Permanent, full-time, able to consider part-time opportunities
Responsibilities
As a HR Business Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner with managing the implementation of a commercially focused, legally compliant people plan to support the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business strategy.
- Partner with the Operational or Functional lead and operate as a credible and trusted partner, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help each business area to deliver its strategy
- Deliver people practices in a manner which is transparent and designed to develop and maintain a positive working relationship between the company and its people.
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the company, its strategy and customers, and the people challenges faced by the company.
- Co-ordinate and manage all Employee Relations activity within designated areas of responsibility
What are we looking for?
This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if you have:
- Degree qualified (or qualified by experience), high potential HR professional with experience of Business Partnering in medium/large organisations with various complexities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and a strong commercial awareness
- Strong relationship skills, able to build influential relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
