Job description

As we implement our One Credera initiative bringing together Consulting and Digital teams across the globe, we need a strong HR Director in the UK who has the ability to bring to life our vision of becoming a destination employer, execute on our integration plans and continue to develop the strong foundations, HR team and people first culture we have cultivated.

We are seeking a highly experienced and people centric HR Director to join our team. As the HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within our organisation. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programmes in support of the businesses success.

Here’s what you will do
  • Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programmes that support the strategic business objectives.
  • Develop the organisation design and operating model of the HR team and provide leadership and guidance to the team creating a supportive and developmental culture.
  • Oversee all aspects of employee lifecycle, onboarding, payroll, performance, reward, engagement and offboarding and ensure it fits together seamlessly, working closely with colleagues in Talent acquisition, Learning, Legal, IT, Finance and Resourcing.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Manage employee reward and benefits, making sure that these are competitive and we are transparent about our reward mechanisms.
  • Maintain and develop our policy suite so that employees can self serve, as well as provide guidance and support to senior leaders on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance improvement, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics, using these to influence and support key decision making.
  • Work with colleagues globally to stay aligned on the One Credera employee value proposition.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the HR budget.
  • Be responsible for all HR strategies, policies and processes across Credera UK.
  • Work closely with Senior leadership teams to develop HR strategy which operates in support of the business strategy and objectives.
  • Work closely with other business operations leaders to provide a joined up approach to support the business.

Reporting Line

  • Reports directly to the CPO UK

Requirements

Who you are

You will be an experienced People Leader, a true HR professional and well versed on operating within a professional services business.

The following attributes are ideal:

  • Demonstrated success with complex people change initiatives.
  • Deep experience of organisation design, development and reward.
  • Able to work strategically but happy to roll up your sleeves when required.
  • You understand that the little things make a big difference, you take time to get to know people and build connections easily across the business.
  • You are commercially minded, understand the business economics and you can demonstrate how having the right people strategy will.
  • Able to operate in a medium size business whilst having experience of working at larger organisations.
  • Experience in operating at senior leadership levels and used to reporting to Board when required.
  • Strong leadership capabilities; able to build, manage, motivate, and develop high performing teams. 
  • Excellent communications verbal and written skills and ability to relate to all levels of the business.  
  • Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a growing, changing fast-paced environment.  
  • Healthy balance of confidence and humility; ability to lead and partner with credibility and influence and demonstrate effectively listening and compromise skills.  
  • Experience of managing budgets.
Hours and location

This is a permanent, full-time role. We consider flexible ways of working, that allow the best outcomes for our people and clients. You will be based in any of our U.K. offices (London, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle) but working closely with our employees, wherever they are based and so some travel within the UK possibly internationally is a requirement.
