Bramah HR is recruiting for a fantastic generalist HR manager to join a growing business on a completely new site that has been acquired. This is a fast paced HR manager role which will see you managing the entire function and a wider HR team to ensure the delivery of effective, compliant and people centered HR solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
- Manage the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Skills
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems or similar software to manage employee data
- To be able to guide and mentor senior leadership on site from an HR perspective
- In-depth knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of HR professionals
- CIPD level 5 as a minimum
- 2 years experience in an HR Management position
