We are seeking a HR Officer to join our small but dynamic HR team. This role is ideal for someone who has a generalist background with 2-3 years of experience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the Head of HR in all recruitment activities, including two main employment intakes per year.
- Handle generalist HR duties, including policy development and project management.
- Liaise with staff at all levels, providing advice on HR issues.
- Maintain a good understanding of employment law to advise staff correctly.
- Manage performance issues and assist with Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Work within a small HR function, collaborating closely with the HR Administrator.
- 2-3 years of HR experience, ideally with a generalist background.
- Ability to support and advise on all aspects of HR, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of employment law.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
