HR Senior Advisor – Talent

Your new role
We are looking for a HR Senior Advisor to join our talent team to help us drive forward our early talent and talent management agenda!
The team are responsible for early talent, education engagement, talent management and succession planning. In this role you will focus on delivering our early talent programmes as well as being involved in the other areas of talent. You will look after your own portfolio of early talent programmes ensuring that all our early talent have an excellent experience and complete their programmes. You will also be responsible for delivering projects that improve our programmes and colleague experience.
This role will be based in Birmingham. We have a flexible hybrid working approach, meaning the role will be a combination of office/ home working.
What you’ll be leading on
- Taking ownership of a portfolio of talent programmes and projects, ensuring they are run effectively, identifying improvements and implementing improvements.
- Supporting our early talent throughout their programme, ensuring that all their learning is completed and that they gain the relevant on the job experience.
- Ensuring the managers are skilled in all areas of talent through producing learning interventions.
- Identifying improvements to our early talent offering, designing and implementing improvements to ensure an excellent programme is delivered to our early talent.
- Act as the subject matter expert for your programmes, being the escalation point for early talent and their managers.
- Support the wider talent team by taking on projects outside of early talent.
To be successful you’ll need
- Previous experience in manging early talent programmes including knowledge and experience in apprenticeships and graduates.
- Experience of designing and implementing development interventions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience of managing multiple projects.
- Experience in talent management (desirable) or a willingness to learn.
